Technician for System Maintenance

The successful maintenance technician will be responsible for installing, supporting, maintaining, overhauling, adjusting, and modifying in-house computer and machine systems throughout the casino. This role covers both electrical and mechanical aspects and requires the technician to undertake tasks within their competence.
The primary focus will be on optimizing performance and troubleshooting hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
The technician will act as a technical resource to assist non-technical staff in resolving issues, and will demonstrate proper use of company procedures, systems, and documentation.
Participation in continuous improvement initiatives and accurate recording/reporting of breakdowns and maintenance are essential.
The role may involve training technicians and occasionally traveling to other locations.
Key Responsibilities- Install, support, maintain, overhaul, adjust, and modify in-house computer and machine systems.
- Cover both electrical and mechanical aspects and undertake tasks within competence.
- Optimize performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
- Act as a technical resource to assist non-technical staff in resolving issues.
- Demonstrate proper use of company procedures, systems, and documentation.
No industry-specific experience required. Slot machines are PC-based with touchscreens and peripherals.
At least 1 year of repair experience in relevant roles or repair centers (PC, laptop, smartphone, tablet repair, or custom PC builds) or electronic qualification.
Genuine interest in technology.
Ability to solder and replace chips/caps on PCs and electronic boards.
Experience in electronics debugging and fault-finding.
A full clean driving license is a plus but not essential.
