We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemist to join our team in the R&D Centre in Swords, Co. Dublin.

The successful candidate will provide technical support for all aspects of analytical methodology, including method development, transfer, qualification, and troubleshooting, as well as day-to-day laboratory operations and equipment maintenance.

Closely collaborating with other functions, such as Chemistry, Operations, Quality (QA/QC), SHE, and external stakeholders/customers, you will ensure flawless, compliant, and right-first-time manufacture of existing and new products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out analytical testing in a timely manner for analytical method development, analytical testing, validation, and qualification to meet project deadlines.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and executing analytical protocols and reports, ensuring high standards of documentation and compliance with local procedures.
  • Ensuring instrumentation is calibrated and correctly maintained, and providing training before task execution.
  • Participating in weekly team meetings, promoting a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement, and attending regular performance discussions with your manager.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to GMP Compliance of laboratory operations and documentation.

Required Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent, preferably with 4+ years' experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and technical writing skills, with a strong technical background in chemistry and analytical chemistry.
