Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a healthcare professional in Edenderry, Ireland.

The successful candidate will provide assistance to our members in their daily lives, enabling them to achieve maximum independence. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working with people and have a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to members, including assistance with daily living activities
  • Assist with domestic tasks and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Support members with social and educational activities, promoting their overall well-being
  • Transport members to appointments and engage in conversation to alleviate loneliness
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 modules completed of the Major Award at QQI Level 5 in Community & Health Services, Health Service Skills, or Healthcare Support
  • Experience of working with people in a caring role is essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
  • Full driving licence and access to own vehicle are essential
