About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as Head of Services.

As Head of Service, you will provide day-to-day operational management for all care and support services across our Residential Childcare Centre settings.

You will work closely with the Director of Services, all TUSLA contracted colleagues, and clinical leads to ensure effective management of placement planning activities for residents and oversight of resources.

The successful candidate will contribute to the senior management leadership of centres and deputise for the Director of Services in their absence.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership:
  • To provide strategic direction and leadership to centre teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and quality.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies.
Operational Excellence:
  • To oversee the day-to-day operation of centres, including staffing, budgets, and resources.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between centre teams and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
Performance Improvement:
  • To identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these.
  • Implement changes to improve service delivery and quality.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of changes.
Compliance and Risk Management:
  • To ensure centres comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to the organisation.
