Job Overview:

The role of Senior Accountant is a 12-month contract position within the Global Tech Ops and Quality Finance team at TN Ireland.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Support the timely reporting of month-end and quarter-end financials, including SOX compliance reporting and inventory-related audit queries.
  2. Collaborate with the Tech Ops and Quality Finance team to drive business outcomes.
  3. Provide site support to Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO) interactions and liaise with Procurement.
  4. Duties related to cost accounting and inventory management of Jazz products, supporting supply chain/global manufacturing in the management and reconciliation of inventory movements throughout the manufacturing process.
  5. Quarter-end reconciliation of inventory movements throughout the manufacturing process.
  6. Support senior members of the team in budgeting and forecasting of Jazz manufacturing costs.
  7. Work closely with other finance functions, including Finance Reporting COE, Finance Analysis team, Finance Accounting Ops, and Global Consolidations team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with ACA/ACCA qualification required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years related accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Biotech and/or Pharmaceutical experience an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with accounting software packages, such as SAP, an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent English language proficiency.
  • Self-motivated individual with ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
