Occupational health is a vital component of any company's overall well-being strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing services to employees across a medical technology site in Galway.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work full-time (37.5 hours per week) on-site five days a week as part of an existing team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide occupational health services to staff.

  • Manage pre-employment medicals and checks
  • Lead absence management and case management processes
  • Collaborate with the OH physician and team to develop and deliver OH services
  • Conduct ergonomic and other risk assessments as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Qualified RGN registered with NMBI
  • Relevant qualification in Occupational Health (desired)
  • Experience in spirometry, audiometry, VDU assessments, phlebotomy, and absence case management (desired)
