Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Category Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong working relationships with customer buying teams and developing customer business plans that deliver growth and profitability.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in FMCG account management, particularly within the convenience sector. They will also possess excellent commercial skills, including experience in P&L management and negotiation.

As a key member of our team, the Category Development Specialist will work closely with colleagues to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth. They will be accountable for managing customer relationships, negotiating trade terms, and developing integrated category promotional plans.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute customer business plans that deliver growth and profitability
  2. Manage customer relationships, including negotiating trade terms and agreements
  3. Develop and implement integrated category promotional plans
  4. Manage P&L for relevant categories and overall level of customer investment
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years relevant FMCG account management experience
  • Experience within a relevant convenience customer base
  • Prior commercial experience and exposure to P&L management
  • Proven history of working within a team environment
