Clinical Nurse Manager Role Overview
The Clinical Nurse Manager will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering patient care in a specialist setting. Key responsibilities include providing optimal healthcare to patients with breast cancer and their families, improving healthcare capability for this patient group, and ensuring high-quality care is delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, holistic care to patients with breast cancer and benign breast problems.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and meet patient needs.
- Develop and support advocacy in patient decision-making, enabling informed treatment choices.
- Act as a resource for specialist knowledge, expertise, and care in liaison with the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain patient dignity and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements:
- A timely start is required.
- A Monday to Friday schedule is available.
- The role is based in North Dublin.
- Temporary agency work is an option.
- The timeframe is one year.
Working Context:
The Clinical Nurse Manager will work within the National Screening Service, which delivers national breast screening services for early diagnosis and primary treatment of breast cancer. The role requires collaboration with multiple teams to deliver a coordinated approach to patient care.
