Role Overview:
The Occupational Therapist will work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team providing family-centered supports to enhance children's participation in daily life.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to children and young people with complex needs associated with disabilities.
- Collaborate with children, families, and the multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and review individualized intervention plans.
- Prioritize caseload based on clinical needs and family goals, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Document all assessments, intervention plans, progress notes, and reports in accordance with professional standards and service policies.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to quality assurance and clinical audit activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
- CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility for registration.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team in a healthcare or disability service.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Full clean driving license and access to own vehicle.
