**Role and Responsibilities**

The Senior M&A Research Analyst will be responsible for evaluating corporate transactions and financially intensive shareholder proposals to formulate written research notes and recommendations for our institutional shareholder clients. They will also participate in or lead engagements with issuers and shareholders regarding contentious and complex governance situations.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, corporate governance, and regulatory developments, as well as excellent analytical writing and critical thinking skills.
