The Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is recruiting for a Social Care Worker to join our team. As a Social Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with intellectual disabilities within a residential setting.
Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualised care plans to promote independence and self-advocacy. You will also work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing direct care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Developing and implementing individualised care plans to promote independence and self-advocacy
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of care and services
- Participating in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Contribution to the development and implementation of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans
Requirements:
- Degree in Applied Social Studies or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Fluent English language skills (written and verbal)
What We Offer:
- Pensionable salary ranging from €38,951 to €53,970 per annum
- Annual leave entitlement: 22 days plus bank holidays
- Service-related leave after 5 and 10 years' service
- LSI payment after 3 years on the maximum scale
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
