Job Description
About this role:

In our Dublin office, we are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join the IT Underwriting Non-Life Unit. This unit is part of the Group IT department and responsible for all applications in the underwriting area.

This position involves supporting the development of our applications in the Pricing area, from business requirements and application specifications to testing strategy and user support.Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysis of business processes and identification of areas for improvement
  • Solution design and specification to meet business needs and requirements
  • Assisting the development team in planning, execution, and monitoring
  • Creating detailed documentation of business requirements and solutions
  • Solution testing and support: defining and executing tests, conducting software quality assurance, and providing user support during acceptance tests

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years' experience analyzing business processes in Financial Services
  • Strong analytical skills and motivation to understand business processes
  • Excellent communication and language skills in English
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL)
  • Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
  • Ability to work effectively within diverse teams and stakeholders
  • A university degree or equivalent in IT/Computer Science
