Job Description

The role of Senior Commercial Manager is a pivotal one within Project People. This position offers the opportunity to lead and shape vendor relationships, negotiate key commercial agreements, and optimize supplier portfolio, directly supporting competitiveness in the market.

You will be at the forefront of the evolving telecommunications landscape, influencing commercial strategy and building strong, mutually beneficial partnerships. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in commercial negotiation planning, with a strong understanding of commercial contracts and legal processes.

About the Role:

  • Lead the Commercial Vendor team, managing effective launches and lifecycle management of multiple devices across a range of segments and vendors.
  • Act as the commercial lead with full end-to-end management of commercial negotiations with vendors and responsible for the development of vendor strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an effective commercial team of vendor managers to maximize vendor funding and achieve business goals.
  • Develop and lead vendor relationships with all vendors, including the creation and execution of vendor strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal senior management to ensure seamless collaboration and mutual understanding.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks associated with current and future product portfolios.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in commercial leadership, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex commercial agreements.
  • A high level of business acumen, with a deep understanding of commercial contracts and legal processes.
