Web Design Specialist

As a highly skilled Web Design Specialist, you will collaborate closely with our design team to create captivating digital experiences that engage online users across various platforms.

  • Designing engaging online features, emails, and social media content
  • Remaining up-to-date on key trends in web design, retail, and category focus within the digital landscape
  • Collaborating effectively with the design team and other departments
  • Supporting senior designers through day-to-day business challenges
  • Managing relationships and communication with colleagues and clients
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams for relevant development work
  • Implementing and maintaining high-quality SEO policies and incorporating them with web content
  • Taking a key role in designing and laying out websites
  • Creating visual layouts of web pages using creative tools and converting designs into HTML and CSS
  • Working with other teams to meet company-wide targets
  • Utilizing web content management systems
  • Producing detailed design reports to various stakeholders
  • Responding to reports of technical problems and working with the team to resolve them quickly
Requirements:
  • 12 months of experience as a junior digital designer or similar industry experience
  • Exceptional communication skills with attention to detail
  • Able to interpret our unique tone of voice
  • A good understanding of brands and how they communicate their values
  • Awareness of general marketing trends and competitor activity
  • Typographic flair
  • Able to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques
  • Solutions-focused with an organized nature, sensible approach to tight deadlines
  • Innovative ideas to share that will help us to learn and grow
  • Strong planning, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Adequate knowledge of relational web application development
  • Top-notch knowledge of creative tools and latest technologies
  • HTML and CSS coding is crucial
  • Bachelor's degree in web design, computer science, visual communication, information technology, or a similar field
