EHS Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Environmental Health and Safety Advisor to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the implementation and maintenance of our EHS Management System. Your primary focus will be on promoting a positive health and safety culture among site management, contractors, and workers. You will also be responsible for monitoring EHS compliance on site and generating weekly inspection reports. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the wider project team and influence the site team in implementing best-practice EHS standards.

Your role will involve working closely with the project team to ensure that all aspects of the project are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations. You will be required to conduct regular site visits to monitor EHS performance and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, you will participate in the development and implementation of training programs to enhance EHS awareness and skills among site personnel.

• Recognised EHS degree or diploma (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred)
• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role
• Previous construction experience is preferred
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Strong IT skills – proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with databases
• Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills
