Machine Safety Engineer

Description

We are seeking an experienced Machinery Safety Engineer to support machine safety systems and process-related projects. This role involves working on Machinery Safety Assessments and supports engineering and programming tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on safety concepts and possible solutions.
  • Conducting Machinery Safety Role assessments.
  • Supporting clients in selecting and implementing safety protections.
  • Preparing risk assessments, FAT and SAT documents, as-built documentation, and technical files.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Sciences or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a technical environment (electromechanics or automation) or in machine safety, functional safety, or safety systems.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to understand the functional operation of installations.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams.

Certification as CMSE (Certified Machinery Safety Expert) and training in TUV Safety of Machinery ISO 13849 and IEC 62061 is a plus.
