We are seeking a qualified and experienced Care Worker to join our team at FRS Recruitment. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting.

Job Description:

As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care and daily living support with dignity and respect.
  • Encouraging independence, social inclusion, and active community participation.
  • Assisting with household tasks, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Supporting individuals in achieving personal goals and engaging in meaningful activities.
  • Working collaboratively with families, multidisciplinary teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in residential care or day services for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • A full Irish manual driving license.
  • A Health or Social Care qualification (e.g., Social Care, Psychology, Nursing, or FETAC Level 5 in healthcare).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
