The Medical Care Professional for Midlands Hospital will be responsible for providing medical care to patients, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes. This includes diagnosing and treating patients with trauma and orthopaedic conditions, ensuring that their care is prioritised and safe.
You will also be responsible for assessing patients on admission and/or discharge, writing detailed reports in case notes, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, initiating and monitoring treatment, communicating effectively with patients and clients, and attending clinics and participating in relevant meetings and conferences. Additionally, you will represent the department at meetings and conferences, facilitate production of data and information, cooperate with investigations and enquiries, maintain professional standards, and seek advice when necessary.
Requirements:
- Degree in medicine or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the relevant medical council
- Experience in trauma and orthopaedic medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
