Job Overview
The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 is a key role in our mental health services, responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses to provide high-quality patient care. This position requires a depth and breadth of experience in working across various mental health services, including inpatient and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to the nursing team, promoting a positive work environment and ensuring effective communication among team members.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of patients, prioritizing their physical and emotional well-being.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, providing coaching and mentoring to support staff in achieving their career goals.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals, therapists, and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- Relevant nursing qualifications and registration with the relevant professional body.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in mental health nursing, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel to different locations as required.
