About the Role

This senior leadership position is a key enabler of business growth and success, responsible for leading a team in developing innovative and high-performing applications.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in application development, with a strong background in complex system integration projects. They will be able to design and implement highly available and scalable systems, leveraging expertise in Java, Spring, and related technologies.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and test-driven development methodologies. A strong understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and related tooling is also essential.

With a passion for continuous improvement and innovation, the Group Manager will drive cultural change, promoting a culture of empowerment and accountability within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Lead a team of professionals in designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality applications.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide authoritative advice on technical strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Project Management: Drive project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Collaboration: Foster effective working relationships with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and technology partners.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in application development, with a focus on leadership and hands-on development of franchise-critical applications.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of Java, Spring, and related technologies, as well as experience with complex system integration projects.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a Master's degree preferred.
