Staff Nurse General Snguh Job Opportunity

This job opportunity is available to both HSE and non-HSE applicants.

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Staff Nurse to join our team at Galway University Hospitals. As a member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

  • Provide nursing care to patients with a range of healthcare needs, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery;
  • Contribute to the development of individualized care plans, identifying and addressing the unique needs and preferences of each patient;
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and service efficiency;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland;
  • Experience in general nursing, preferably within an acute hospital setting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues;
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
