We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and making a real difference in people's lives.

  • Your Key Responsibilities:\
  • Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.\
  • Provide essential support with oral hygiene, denture care, and mobility activities.\
  • Monitor and record patient food and fluid intake, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.\
  • Support nurses and doctors during examinations and procedures, providing vital assistance where needed.\
  • Maintain accurate patient records, adhering to hospital policies and protocols.\
  • Contribute to creating a safe and clean environment for patients and staff, promoting infection control practices.\
  • Patient Interaction: Provide emotional support, companionship, and engage patients in conversation and recreational activities.\
  • Support Mental Well-being by offering reassurance, comfort, and engaging patients in conversation and activities.\

Requirements:

  • A caring and empathetic nature, with a strong desire to deliver exceptional patient care.\
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience as a HCA in a nursing home or hospital setting.\
  • The right to work in Ireland.\
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.\
  • Access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential, with the ability to commute easily.\
  • A good understanding of the Irish healthcare system and care principles.\
