We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Healthcare Cleaners. This is a full-time position with immediate start for our clients in various locations. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in hospital or nursing home cleaning, knowledge of sanitation and infection control procedures, and excellent customer service skills.

The role involves general housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, refuse disposal, changing beds, and maintaining a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies. Additionally, cleaners will collect dirty laundry from patients' rooms and deliver it to washing areas, distribute clean linen to appropriate floors, and maintain adequate stock of cleaning products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. General housekeeping tasks (cleaning, refuse, changing beds etc.)
  2. Collect dirty laundry from patients' rooms and deliver them to washing areas
  3. Distribute clean linen to appropriate floors
  4. Maintain adequate stock of cleaning products
  5. Maintain a clean and organised storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies
  6. Take and address any patients' complaints regarding housekeeping services
  7. Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper compaction of surgical waste as per Hospital procedures

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience
  2. Manual Handling, Infection Control and Chemical Safety training would be an advantage
  3. Must be flexible as shifts could be at various times
  4. Excellent level of spoken English
