Job Opportunity for Social Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate social worker to join our team.

Job Description:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of older adults to develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and support to patients and their families in need.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care, addressing the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
  • Advocate for patients' rights and access to essential services, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and improve skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a level 8 degree in Social Care, with a strong foundation in social work principles and practices.
  • At least 3 years of post-qualifying experience in social work, preferably with a focus on mental health services and older adults.
  • CORU registration as a social worker, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and case management skills, with the capacity to think critically and creatively.
  • Full driving license and access to a reliable vehicle is an asset.
  • Residency in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
  • All candidates will undergo Garda Vetting and may require International Police Clearance if applicable.
