Job Opportunity for Dedicated Professionals
Caregivers are sought to work with adults and children who have intellectual disabilities in North Cork and Co Limerick. The organization focuses on providing exceptional care that enables service users to live their lives to the fullest potential.
The successful candidates will have:
- A degree in Applied Social Studies or relevant qualification, or be eligible for CORU registration, or be CORU Registered.
- Experience working with adults or children who have intellectual disabilities.
- The ability to work independently and supervise staff and service users in a residential setting.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- A full manual driving license.
The successful candidate will:
- Ensure the needs of the service users are being met.
- Teach daily living and social skills through daily activities.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with the service users.
- Participate in activities and complete household tasks.
- Keep accurate records of service user documentation.
- Complete other tasks as required by the role.
