**Job Title:** Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee the civil works for a new power station project in Kerry. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a critical project with a duration of two years, contributing to Ireland's energy infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Management: Provide clear leadership and technical guidance to engineers, operatives, and subcontractors.
  2. Project Delivery: Plan and manage civil works to meet programme milestones, ensuring alignment with strategic energy goals.
  3. Drive Results: Oversee all aspects of project delivery including budget control, resource management, design coordination, and contract administration.
  4. Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, utility providers, and public stakeholders, acting as a trusted ambassador for the business.
  5. Sustainability Focus: Align procurement and delivery strategies with environmental objectives and long-term value creation.
  6. Ensure Compliance: Oversee licensing, permitting, and public works contract requirements with precision and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering (or a related field).
  • Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Chartered or working towards chartership with Engineers Ireland (or similar professional body).
  • Experience in a Project Manager role ideally in energy, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure.
