Job Role Summary

The primary function of this role is to ensure the operational efficiency and reliability of plant and equipment. This involves working closely with Site Maintenance Managers, Planners, and API Maintenance Lead to deliver a compliant operation.

Main responsibilities include executing Reliability Centered Maintenance initiatives and developing Root Cause Failure Analysis Programs. These programs aim to reduce general equipment breakdowns by identifying causes and implementing corrective actions.

This role also involves establishing and using reliability & work planning metrics/KPI's to monitor improvement and resource optimization. Daily start-up checks on machinery are essential for ensuring swift and safe breakdowns, maintaining an efficient, safe, and hygienic manner for servicing and maintenance.

In addition to routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and good maintenance of machinery, this role requires implementing and following preventative maintenance schedules. The ideal candidate will have experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

A qualification in mechanical or electrical repair and maintenance is necessary, along with two years of electrical/mechanical experience. Knowledge and experience in food manufacturing environments are advantageous but not essential.
