Job Description

Lead Senior Fund Accountant

Oversee multiple fund accounting teams and drive the delivery of high-quality services across a complex portfolio of investment fund clients.

Provide leadership and direction to fund accounting teams and managers, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of services.

  • Review and approve monthly and quarterly NAV calculations and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance and enhancement of internal control frameworks in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
  • Act as the primary escalation point and trusted advisor for clients.
  • Coordinate with auditors, custodians, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives and support new product launches and system implementations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Monitor performance and fee calculations, allocations, and reconciliations.
  • Mentor and develop team members to support growth and succession planning.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8–10 years' experience in investment fund accounting or fund administration (hedge fund experience strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing senior level teams.
  • Strong understanding of fund structures, valuation methodologies, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of accountability, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment and collaborate across time zones.
