Senior Oracle Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Oracle Developer to join one of our clients based in Dublin, Ireland.

This is a hybrid arrangement where you will work 3 days on-site and 2 days remotely each week.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for rewriting and migrating functionality in existing reference data systems to strategic platforms.

You will also build tools to reduce time to onboard new feeds, including data quality monitoring, data reconciliation, and automated test tools.

Additionally, you will add new features to the core reference data platform to manage data quality and analytics.

Occasionally, you may provide third-level support for the applications.

You will gain understanding of the business data domain and perform analysis when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Rewrite/migrate functionality in existing reference data systems to strategic platforms.
  2. Build tools to reduce time to onboard new feeds, including data quality monitoring, data reconciliation, and automated test tools.
  3. Add new features to the core reference data platform to manage data quality and analytics.
  4. Develop new features in strategic platforms.
  5. Provide third-level support for the applications.
  6. Gather information about the business data domain and analyze it when required.
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience with Oracle development (PL/SQL), specifically with large-scale databases, including index strategies, partitioning, performance tuning, optimization, and stored procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Results-driven and experienced in Agile development methodologies.
