Our organization is seeking a dynamic and highly technical professional to fill the role of Senior Accounting Leader. This position involves managing a team of accountants, reviewing financial statements, overseeing tax compliance, and supporting client relationships at a senior level.

This Senior Accounting Leader will thrive in a fast-paced professional environment and be passionate about both compliance and advisory work. They will be as comfortable leading a team as they are diving deep into the detail of a set of accounts or advising a business owner on tax efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ACA / ACCA / CPA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 4 years' recent experience in an Irish accountancy practice
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Irish GAAP, Corporation Tax, Income Tax, and VAT
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team and a portfolio of clients
  • Highly proficient in cloud-based and traditional accounting platforms
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and document management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and highly organised
