Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to join our team in providing high-quality care to individuals with additional needs.

About the Role:

  • You will work as part of a team to deliver client care needs, develop and implement support plans, and ensure practices within the service comply with policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) when required.
  • Provide support to colleagues within the team setting.
  • Act as a mentor for new staff and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in the development and review of risk assessments and report concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver client care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate support plans.
  2. Ensure practices within the service comply with policies and procedures.
  3. Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
  4. Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture.
  5. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • FETAC/QQI level 5/social care/healthcare assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Completed or willing to complete a patient manual handling course.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.
  • Full driver's licence for a manual car.
  • Strong sense of empathy, flexibility, and team-oriented work ethic.
