Project Management in the Renewable Sector

About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our utility scale projects in Ireland and the UK. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing multiple contracts and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high level of quality.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead projects from development through construction and handover to Operations
  • Manage contractors' performance on project sites, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality, and project specifications
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including statutory authorities and construction interfaces between various contractors and external third parties
  • Support the Contracts Management Team to manage interim accounts and negotiate variations and claims as required
  • Report on project safety, programme, cost, and quality progress to senior management and propose corrective actions as needed
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong cultural belief in safety coupled with extensive project management experience in large capital utility scale projects in the renewable sector
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation skills
  • The ability to lead a project team to a high level of performance
  • An understanding of PSDP/PSCS and/or CDMC processes
  • The ability to work with multidisciplinary project stakeholders, including technical and legal fields
  • Attention to detail and an understanding of technical and regulatory requirements to deliver utility scale projects
