Accounting Position

CPL is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to join their team in Dublin, Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and be actively pursuing their professional qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, ledgers, and other financial records.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
  • Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
  • Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processes.
  • Undertake various unplanned tasks and projects as required.
Requirements:
  • Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience in ROI.
  • Stamp 4 or EU Passport essential.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
