Job Title: Reservations Ambassador

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Reservations Ambassador to join our team. As a key member of our sales and reservations department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, managing their bookings, and ensuring seamless experiences from start to finish.

About the Role:

• You will greet guests over the phone in a friendly and welcoming manner, creating a positive first impression of our hotel.
• Record reservation information accurately on our system, identifying group and transient business codes, recording deposit information, and processing special billing instructions.
• Approve credit after consultation with your supervisor, record requests for special accommodation and suites, and file all reservations in a systematic order for easy referral.
• You will identify commissionable reservations, secure required information, and inform other departments of VIP arrivals.
• Contribute to maximum occupancy and average rate by utilizing yield management techniques and promote hotel restaurants and services to guests.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and hotel revenue by delivering excellent service and promoting additional amenities and services.

Requirements:

• An outstanding customer service attitude and motivation to please our guests.
• Administration experience using IT systems, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• A team player with the ability to use your own initiative and work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Fluent spoken English with excellent writing skills and high computer literacy using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Prior experience in a similar role is highly advantageous.
