About the Role:

Cabinet makers and joiners are highly skilled craftsmen responsible for creating high-quality bespoke furniture, cabinetry, and fitted joinery pieces. The ideal candidate will have experience working with wood, possess strong attention to detail, and be able to work accurately from technical drawings and specifications.

• Interpret complex technical drawings, plans, and cutting lists precisely
• Measure, cut, assemble, and finish timber and sheet materials efficiently
• Design and build custom cabinetry, wardrobes, kitchens, and other bespoke joinery items
• Operate a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
• Achieve high standards of finish, quality control, and accuracy in all work
• Ensure seamless on-site fitting and installation of joinery elements
• Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment
• Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other trades to meet deadlines and deliver results
• Solve practical problems during production and installation through creative thinking

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a cabinet maker or joiner – cabinetry manufacturing
• Strong woodworking skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficiency in hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
• Proven ability to install and fit joinery elements on-site
• Excellent craftsmanship and problem-solving skills
• Relevant qualification or apprenticeship in carpentry/joinery
