Home Care Support Professional

We are currently seeking individuals to fill the role of Home Care Support Professional in a Dublin area.

As a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Support Professional, you will provide exceptional care to clients in their homes. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, light household chores, personal care, and medication administration.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing or assisting with meal and drink preparation
  • Light household tasks including dusting, laundry, washing up, and vacuuming
  • Personal care, encompassing washing, bathing, showering, and toileting
  • Supporting with the administration of medication
  • Assisting clients with morning and bedtime routines
  • Shopping for essential needs
  • Maintaining accurate records of your daily activities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Caring, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential; must be able to commute around the area as this is a home-to-home role
  • Full QQI 5 major Healthcare Support Award and/or QQI Care Skills and Care of the Elderly
  • Must be enrolled, completing, or have completed QQI Care Skills and Care of the Elderly
