Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled psychologist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services. As a staff grade psychologist, you will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and support to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Utilize clinical interviews, psychometric testing, and structured observations to develop comprehensive understanding of clients' difficulties.
  • Formulate Psychological Understanding: Draw on a range of theoretical models to formulate effective interventions and provide individualized support.
  • Provide Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including CBT, DBT-informed approaches, ACT, schema therapy, and psychoeducation, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Support Recovery-Focused Goals: Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized recovery plans, fostering empowerment and promoting positive outcomes.
  • Engage in Risk Assessment and Management: Ensure safe and appropriate clinical practice by conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing effective management strategies.
  • Maintain High Standards of Clinical Documentation: Adhere to professional guidelines and HSE standards for clinical documentation, ensuring accurate and timely recording of client information.
