Accounts Receivable Professional

This is a key role within the Accounts Receivable team, responsible for processing and managing the flow of transactions and invoices.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to broaden their experience and exposure across the broader Finance function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily bank postings and reconciliation
  • Involvement in the entire accounts receivable cycle from invoicing, credit control, reconciliations and monthly close
  • Supporting the statutory and monthly management accounts preparation
  • Working directly with the Team lead to proactively and effectively manage ageing debtors
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve queries in a timely manner
  • Contacting customers by phone/email for outstanding payment
  • Following up with customers regarding failed direct debits
  • Issuing copy invoices or any other information as required by a customer to resolve payment
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Opening new customer accounts
  • Updating customer contracts
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3 year+ Accounts experience
  • Ambitious, energetic and motivated with ability to adapt to new challenges
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills
  • Proficiency in working with multiple systems

Maintaining accurate records, managing customer relationships and contributing to a positive team environment are also essential aspects of this role.
