Accountancy Professional

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing accounts to trial balance and assisting in finalising year-end accounts. You will also process VAT returns and provide bookkeeping services using cloud accounting software.

Our ideal candidate will have IATI qualified or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice. They will possess solid knowledge of VAT, bookkeeping, and accounts preparation, as well as proficiency with cloud systems such as Xero, Quick Books, or Sage.

A team player with strong attention to detail is essential for this role. You will collaborate closely with managers and other team members to meet client deadlines and build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Prepare accounts to trial balance and assist in finalising year-end accounts.
  • Bookkeeping Services: Process VAT returns and provide bookkeeping services using cloud accounting software.
  • Client Support: Support client onboarding, queries, and digital migration.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with managers and other team members to meet client deadlines.
  • Relationship Building: Build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: IATI qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
