Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Care Assistant in Wexford Town. This is an exciting opportunity for those who want to make a positive impact on the lives of others.


The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, companionship, and maintaining clients' dignity and respect. They will also be required to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care and support to clients in their own homes
  • Assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Offering emotional support and companionship to clients and their families
  • Maintaining confidentiality and respecting clients' autonomy at all times

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in caregiving or a related field
  • Relevant qualifications such as QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person
  • A clean driving license and access to a vehicle (although not essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
