Stroke Care Clinical Specialist

This role offers the opportunity to develop and implement evidence-based stroke care practices.
The successful candidate will work with multidisciplinary teams to improve stroke outcomes and provide expert clinical guidance and support to nursing staff in the development of stroke care services.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and Implementing Evidence-Based Stroke Care Guidelines: The Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining evidence-based stroke care guidelines that are aligned with current best practices.
- Providing Education and Training: The successful candidate will provide education and training to nursing staff on stroke care best practices, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Collaborating with Multidisciplinary Teams: The Clinical Nurse Specialist will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve stroke outcomes and ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Conducting Quality Improvement Initiatives: The successful candidate will conduct quality improvement initiatives to enhance stroke care services and identify areas for improvement.
- Registration and Experience: The successful candidate must be a registered nurse with current registration and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field.
- Postgraduate Qualification: A postgraduate qualification in a relevant area, such as stroke care, is highly desirable.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as the successful candidate will be working closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to Work Independently: The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also essential for this role.
