Compliance Manager and Data Protection Officer Role
A second-line AML compliance expert is needed to assist in designing, implementing, and monitoring the AML and data protection compliance programs for a registered virtual asset service provider.

The Compliance Manager and DPO will support the Head of Compliance (Ireland) in implementing relevant compliance programs, including AML/CFT/Sanctions, EU Travel Rule, and regulatory change programs. This role involves coordinating timely investigations of suspicious activity, necessary reporting with an Garda Síochána and the Revenue Commissioners, and providing responses to Law Enforcement agencies.

Data Protection Responsibilities
  • Maintain internal data protection policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with EU data privacy requirements and other data protection legislation.
  • Inform and advise employees on their data protection obligations under the GDPR and foster a data protection culture within the organization.
  • Lead Privacy Risk Assessments, manage data subject access requests, and data breach responses as the primary point of contact for internal and external queries and issues.
