Job Overview

This is a full-time quality engineering position offering comprehensive benefits.

We seek an experienced leader to drive quality assurance, control, and preventative activities with a focus on continuous improvement of products and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and guide cross-functional teams. This role requires a strategic thinker who can advocate for initiatives to enhance quality performance within our organization and for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and oversee the quality performance of products and processes.
  • Address top quality issues with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Mentor and approve NC/CAPA, provide expert problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
  • Lead quality initiatives or projects, ensuring successful execution and outcomes.
  • Recognized process owner with expertise across multiple quality areas.
  • Contribute to local, global, and corporate processes, representing our function on review boards and teams.
  • Input, assessment, and justification at expert level for concessions, change management, and quality issues.
  • Review and approval of change management activities, ensuring compliance and regulatory adherence.
  • Interpret KPI trends, drive continuous improvement processes, and advocate for Human Factor practices.
  • Engage in internal and external audits, providing effective narrative and description of topic expertise and overview of our business.
  • Supports/leads manufacturing transfers to other plants/facilities, leading quality activities.
  • Responsible for initiation, internal containment, and support of shipment and product holds for potential product escapes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related field (Level 8).
  • Masters, CQE, or CRE preferred, Six Sigma Green or Black belt desired.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in quality engineering, preferably in a similar industry.
