Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Child and Family Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care, support, and guidance to vulnerable children in a residential care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day care and support to children in a safe, nurturing environment.
  • Develop and maintain supportive relationships with children and assist in their emotional, social, and behavioural development.
  • Implement individualised care plans and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support children in education, health, family contact, and recreational activities.
Requirements

Candidates must possess a recognised qualification in one of the following disciplines:

  • Psychology (Level 8)
  • Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy/ Addiction Counselling/Youth & Community Work / Social Sciences / Social Studies / Family Support / Disability Studies / Applied Behavioural Analysis

Must be able to hold appropriate right to work in Ireland and have experience working with children/young people in a residential, community, or educational setting.
