As a senior tax professional, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate complex tax matters and devise strategies to optimize their tax position. You will work on a variety of advisory projects, including mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, intellectual property planning, and reorganization assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building and maintaining relationships with a portfolio of clients and providing a high standard of client service, with a core focus on internationally active clients.
  • Opportunity to work with partners and directors on advisory projects including M&A, due-diligence, IP planning, and reorganization assignments.
  • Coordinating and collaborating with other firms on cross-border projects and business development initiatives.
  • Managing the tax compliance obligations on a portfolio of corporate clients (predominantly internationally focused businesses) and leading the delivery of high-quality tax compliance services to those clients.
  • Contributing to the operational management of the corporate tax department, including certain business development initiatives.
  • Providing mentorship to junior staff, and contributing to the attraction, development, and retention of top talent for the firm.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • ITI and ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • At least 2-3 years' experience in a management role in a tax practice or industry.
  • Experience in managing a corporate client portfolio with strong commercial expertise.
  • Strong technical skills to deliver corporate tax advisory services.
  • Prior experience of working with FDI cases (desirable but not essential).
  • Team player with experience in managing staff.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong Microsoft applications skills; Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
