We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Regulatory Advisory team in the Irish market. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of banking and capital markets, with a strong understanding of risk and capital management processes and procedures.

The successful applicant will assist Partners and Directors in expanding our market offering, play a key role in strengthening client relationships, and assist in delivering a range of interesting engagements.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams on engagements by being a key contact for clients, responsible for day-to-day liaison and building meaningful relationships;
  • Assist in designing and taking solutions to the marketplace;
  • Develop opportunities and win new business through marketing and sales activities and continuous client relationship programmes;
  • Take responsibility for conduct of reviews and preparation of reports, making oral presentations of findings/recommendations to client management teams;
  • Support technical analysis as a subject matter expert in aspects of European prudential regulation (CRR/CRD, BRRD, IFR/D);
  • Network with clients, prospective clients and internally across the firm;
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of banking and capital markets sector, including risk and capital management processes and procedures;
  • Technically proficient in prudential aspects of European regime as it applies to banks and investment firms, regulatory reporting as well as elements of broader ECB/SSM regime and requirements;
  • Experience in providing regulatory consulting advice to established companies and new entrants either inhouse, at a regulatory body or a consultancy;
  • Positive and proactive attitude, ability to adopt agile approach;
  • Demonstrate ability to form strong relationships, make new contacts, listen to needs and interpret this to identify new opportunities to assist them;
  • Drive to win new work, build reputation and expand service offerings to clients;
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and oral;
