Key Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading high-precision automation equipment at customer sites.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in mechanical, electrical, motion control, and automation systems. Experience with PLC programming, HMI interfaces, and troubleshooting industrial machines is preferred.

Additionally, the candidate will need to have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as a customer-focused mindset. Travel across Ireland and abroad may be required to support customer installations and service operations.

  • Install, commission, and troubleshoot complex automation and precision mechanical systems at customer sites.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades on installed equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to validate and test new equipment before deployment.
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs, advising customers on best practices.
  • Develop and refine service documentation, including reports, manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to identify new opportunities for maintenance contracts and service upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards during all service activities.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations to address urgent customer needs.
