Job Role:

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Specialist to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across various sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mechanical building services design solutions from concept to completion.
  • Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams alongside architects, engineers, and designers.
  • Support senior engineers in feasibility studies, option appraisals, and detail design.
  • Contribute to sustainable design strategies, renewable energy integration, and passive design solutions.
  • Use front-end design tools (e.g., IES) and design within a Revit environment.
  • Attend site inspections during construction to monitor progress and ensure design compliance.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients and project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering (Masters desirable).
  • Full or working towards CIBSE membership and Chartership.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building services systems and sustainability solutions.
  • Proficient in IES, Revit, CAD, and general IT applications.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects across a range of sectors and scales.
