As a system development specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting production software issues
  • Developing tools and automation solutions
  • Performing software maintenance and configuration
  • Implementing fixes for internally developed code

You'll work on operations and maintenance driven coding projects, primarily in Ruby, Rails, Java, Python, or shell scripts, AWS, and web technologies. You'll also develop tools to aid operations and maintenance, report system and support status, and own digital products or components.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems
  • 5+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
