Advanced Network Architect

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand testing requirements and expectations.
- Plan network topologies and configure hardware, features, and tools to emulate required environments.
- Execute test plans, focusing on potential weaker areas, performance, and realistic scale based on real-life scenarios.
- Troubleshoot failures and work with development teams on reproduction, root cause analysis, fix verification, and bug/limitation documentation.
- Communicate results to stakeholders and provide feedback on design, implementation, and performance improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in telecommunications, computer engineering, or computer networking.
- 10+ years of experience working on complex end-to-end environments, including design and hands-on tasks.
- Experience in testing preferred but not required.
- Highly detailed working knowledge of layer 2 and layer 3 technologies, such as IP forwarding, OSPF, BGP, VxLAN, MPLS, EVPN, ECMP, VRRP, STP, RSTP, MST, PVST+, Ethernet link aggregation, LACP.
- Detailed working knowledge of layer-2/3 switch administration, including industry-standard CLI, SNMP, and API interfaces.
- Familiarity with Linux tools and scripting languages.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong drive to improve quality and curiosity to learn new technologies.
- Able to operate with a high degree of independence.
